For a number of years, Bob Miller served as a senior partner in the Estate Planning Department of William Mullen and has recently opened his own office. In his new practice, Bob continues to serve clients in the areas of estate and trust planning and administration, income tax and related tax and business issues.
Bob received his undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University and his law degree from the University of Virginia. In addition, Bob holds a Master's Degree in Law and Taxation from the William and Mary Law School.
Active in civic affairs, Bob has served as President of the Virginia Beach Rotary Club and as a Board member of Virginia Beach Vision, Virginia Beach Forum and the Harbor Club of Norfolk.
In addition to having served as the Chairman of the Trusts and Estates Section of the Virginia State Bar and Co-Chairman of the Old Dominion University Tax Conference, Bob is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Council, one of only 2500 lawyers in the United States to be so honored. Bob has lectured at various continuing legal education courses for the Virginia State Bar and the Virginia Law Foundation. He continues to be a frequent speaker on estate planning and taxation and has been published in the ACTEC Law Journal, the Virginia State Bar Journal, and the Journal of Financial Service Professionals. He has been listed for a number of years in Best Lawyers in America as well as being named a "Super Lawyer" for Estate Planning and Probate by Virginia Super Lawyers magazine.
